Q: What is IAQ and what does it mean to me?
A:
IAQ is an acronym for "Indoor Air Quality." According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the air inside the average home is up to five times more polluted than the air outside. Results from in-home air testes across North America support this government finding. Nearly every home (96%) had at least one IAQ problem.
86% had high leverls of particles and bioaerolsols like dust, pollen and viruses.
71% were filled with odors and potentially harmful chemicals and gases.
Q: How often should I change my furnace filter?
A:
How often you change your furnace filter depends greatly on the type of filters you use. The higher quality filters need to be changed more often because they are capable of trapping more dirt. We recommend checking your filters at once a month and based on a visual examination, determine if they need changing.
Q: How often should I have my furnace, air conditioner and/or heat pump serviced?
A:
All of your home comfort equipment should be cleaned, inspected and serviced annually by a professional HVAC contractor to ensure proper performance of your equipment. Some manufacturers require annual maintenance to meet warranty requirements. Annual maintenence also ensures your equipment is running at it's peak efficiency.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A:
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
